Paper and Cardboard Recycling

Paper and Cardboard Recycling makes up approximately 5.6 million tonnes of waste each year in Australia according to the previous research completed in 2016-2017 for the Australian Government.

Paper and Cardboard recycling include cardboard, printer offcuts, office paper, liquid paperboard, newsprint, and magazines.

According to the research, around 60% of the 5.6 million tonnes was recycled. 40% of the paper and cardboard was sent to landfill.

At Paper Resource, we want to increase that percentage and are looking to work with companies that want to recycle more of their waste – especially their paper waste.

Over 50 years, we have purchased and collected more than 1.4 million tonnes of recyclable materials.

Our fully equipped, state of the art production line enables us to meet the waste paper demands of our local and international clients. We offer a secure production facility that allows us to destroy sensitive material, making it unrecognisable and then recycle it for future use.
